Kids For Kids Academy has been serving the underserved since 2005. Their efforts and scholarship programs allow low income, foster kids, and kids in need to attend regardless of their ability to pay. The school's outreach in the community has provided books and backpacks to over 90,000 kids over the years through their charitable work in the non profit sector. They have raised over $80,000 for kids in their school with cancer.
Now Kids For Kids Academy needs our help. When many schools in the area closed for good through COVID, Kids for Kids took big loans and despite a $207,000 loss they continue to serve their community providing a safe place for 183 children ages 1-8. Although open and fully functional, their playground is in dire need of assistance. Old Artificial grass needs to be replaced, structures and shade sails need to be fixed and upgraded and additional toys and equipment is needed to support their healthy initiative of have a space for kids to escape to at least twice a day. Now more than ever Kids For Kids needs to take their kids out of the building for fresh air in their efforts to be COVID safe.
