HOW WOULD PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT WORTH US$25,000 OF BENEFIT YOUR COMMUNITY?

Kiwanis International and Landscape Structures Inc. are partnering for the seventh year to offer US$25,000 in playground equipment to the club that best demonstrates its need. Plans should include playground installation in conjunction with Kiwanis One Day 2021, on Oct. 23.

STEP 1: 

PREPARE YOUR ENTRY 

Discuss the contest with your club and other community partners. Submit your entry here from August 10 to September 10. Unsure of where to begin? Preview the list of questions, gather details and write your proposal in advance. Read the official contest rules and check out the 2020 contest questions. Learn what past judges looked for in winning entries.   

 STEP 2:  

SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY 

Upload your club’s proposal to this page from August 10, 2020, through 11:59:59 p.m. EDT, September 10, 2020. When you click on “Submit your entry” below, you’ll be prompted to first create an account. This will allow you to make edits to your club’s entry any time before the voting period begins. Once your account has been created, click “Submit your entry” again to see the submission form.

Submissions must be approved by Kiwanis staff before appearing in the public list of submissions below.

STEP 3: 

VOTE! 

Vote for the winning entry from September 14, 2020, through 11:59:59 a.m. EDT, September 27, 2020.  Share your club’s entry with family, friends, community partners and ask them to vote. People can vote once every 24 hours so be sure to encourage them to vote often. The 10 projects with the most votes by noon EDT on September 27, 2020, will move to the final round of judging. The winner will be selected by a panel of judges including past winners and Kiwanis partners. The winner will be announced on or around October 7.
